In Memoriam

Adam Lancman suffered a heart attack on Saturday and died shortly after.

Mr Lancman was a pioneer of the Australian video games industry for over twenty years. He was the managing director of Beam Software / Melbourne House, which eventually became Infogrames Melbourne House and finally Atari Melbourne House. He had a hand in games development for pretty much every platform in existence, including Commodores, Segas, Nintendos, Playstations, and Xboxen.

He was also one of the people that hired me into the job I have today.

His passing will be felt throughout the entire Australian games industry.
